A good starting point to manage your anxiety is always to start with getting help. A mental health professional you trust and/or a holistic doctor will help you figure out the start of where your anxious thoughts are coming from. Ask them to help you come up with measurable changes and strategies that actually work for you. Through this, you will learn how to calm yourself (your CNS) in a repeatable way. So that your feelings of guilt, shame, and frustration with yourself don’t get in the way of your career, goals, and personal life.
Lifestyle choices can have a huge impact on your overall mood and overwhelm. You may quickly read over this and not be ready to take action yet. And that is okay. When the frustration of overthinking, sleepless nights, “what if” thoughts, and tummy and toilet troubles becomes a big enough problem for you, you will take action.
Please note: Your body is constantly taking in cues from your external and internal world. That is to say, your anxiety and mood are not only because of what you feel inside your body. It’s not your “fault” even though you blame yourself. The outside world we now live in is often uncertain. It is not your fault. You are not weak. You are not broken. You are good enough and deserving of getting the help you need. Why?
So that you can be the healthiest version of yourself, and cope well so that you can help others around you do the same too.
